Privacy Policy
Our Approach to Privacy
At Appiary, we believe your data belongs to you. Our applications are designed with privacy as a core principle, not an afterthought. This policy covers both how our applications handle your data and the limited data this website (appiary.dev) processes when you visit.
Data Collection
Our applications do not have an Appiary server backend. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data through our applications. Your app data lives on your device. Standard device backups (iCloud, Google) may include it, but those backups stay in your Apple or Google account - never ours.
What we don't collect:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
- Usage data or analytics
- Location data
- Device identifiers
- Third-party analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs
Platform Diagnostics
Apple and Google may share anonymized crash reports with us through their platform tools (App Store Connect, Play Console) if you have diagnostics sharing enabled in your device settings. We do not add any of our own crash or analytics tooling, and we do not tie platform crash data to anything else.
Local Data Storage
All data you create in our apps is stored locally on your device. This includes:
- User-generated content
- App settings and preferences
- Any files or data created within the application
Sync Across Your Devices
Where our apps offer cross-device sync, our aim is to let you choose the provider. We do not run sync servers of our own. Your data moves between your devices through a service you select and trust, such as iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox, or another supported option.
When you enable sync:
- Your data syncs directly between your devices through the service you choose
- Appiary does not have access to your synced data
- The chosen provider's privacy policy applies to anything synced through it
- You can disable sync at any time in the app or your device settings
Third-Party Services and Network Connections
Some of our applications may connect to third-party services or the internet to provide features you enable or request. Examples include cross-device sync (through services like iCloud, Google Drive, or Dropbox), or fetching content from external services an application is designed to work with.
When this happens:
- The application initiates the connection at your direction
- Data sent to the third-party service is governed by that service's privacy policy
- Appiary does not see, store, or relay this data
- You can avoid these connections by not enabling the related feature
Our applications do not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Your Rights
Under GDPR (European Union) and CCPA (California), you have certain rights regarding your data. Since we don't collect your data, these rights are inherently protected:
- Right to Access: All your data is on your device, accessible to you at all times
- Right to Deletion: You can delete data at any time by removing it from the app or uninstalling the application
- Right to Portability: Your data remains in standard formats and can be exported as provided by app features
- Right to Object: Since we don't process your data on our servers, there's nothing to object to
The Website
This site (appiary.dev) is a static marketing site. It does not currently use cookies, analytics, or other client-side tracking. The hosting provider may retain standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps) for operational and security purposes; Appiary does not separately aggregate or analyze them.
Children's Privacy
Our applications do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. Since we don't collect any personal information, our apps can be used by all ages with appropriate parental guidance.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
